Continuing Education

SomnaCare now offers Continuing Education Credits (CECs) to VA clinical staff through online learning courses. SomnaCare utilizes an online platform to provide VA clinical staff with easy access to educational programs and learning tools. All educational programs provided by SomnaCare are approved for CECs by various accrediting agencies such as the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), etc.

*Note 1:For first time Users, you will need to "Create New Account" using your professional (@VA.gov) email address and by filling in all of the required fields. Once you have completed the registration process, you will receive an email from a SomnaCare Administrator to verify your account.

Once the registration process is complete you will log in with your newly set up Username and Password.

*Note 2: When first logging in, click on "All Courses" in the lower right corner of the screen to select the courses you would like to take. Once clicking on the "All Courses" link, all available courses will display on the SomnaCare Education page. Click on the courses you would like to take and click on the "Enroll Me" button to enroll yourself. Once enrolled, you can follow the instructions to complete the modules for the continuing educational credits.
